Read About Heather

If you work with me, my goal is the only thing you will have to do is choose the best offer and sign the contract. I will do the rest. I’ve been the top salesperson in my office for the past several years, with sales over 100 million dollars in 2017 alone.  I was named the #2 individual salesperson in all of Brooklyn by the Wall Street Journal’s Real Trends report, and I am a member of Corcoran’s President’s Council. My secret? I make sure my listings are the best marketed, best looking properties available and are never overpriced. The result is multiple offers that create competition and push the sale price above the asking price.

I’ve been a New Yorker for 19 years, a Brooklynite for 17, a homeowner for 13. I cherish the pulse and energy of Manhattan, but there’s no place like Brooklyn. For all its changes, it’s still the place I fell in love with years ago, when I rode my motorcycle though block after tree-lined block, past brownstone after brownstone, as the summer sun faded and my heart rose. It’s home.

My own experience buying and selling real estate has made me sympathetic to the importance of finding a broker who will ask the right questions and listen closely to the answers. Though real estate can be stressful, by being energetic, accessible, and attentive my goal is for my clients to enjoy to the process. I pride myself on the ability to create a seamless and stress-free transaction. I oversee a large network of “subcontractors”, such as painters, handy-people and cleaners, so that my sellers don’t need to hire anyone but me. With my extensive background in interior design, I am uniquely positioned to help my clients prepare their homes for sale and help buyers envision the aesthetic possibilities of their potential homes.

Originally from Minnesota, I moved to New York in the mid-90s to pursue a graduate degree in English. My subsequent work in book marketing and publicity and later, in interior design, have been invaluable assets when it comes to marketing and staging my listings.

I'm hapily married to a wonderful Michigander. We have have two young daughters, ages 6 and 9, an adorable Cairn Terrier, and when not working in Brooklyn, I love spending time with my family and friends at our house in the Catskills where we love to hike, ski, cook, and explore.
